Speaking of desperate.

This is his typical response to any of these discussions. Pics of Lebron crying or getting jerked off on.

It doesn't matter to him that so far, there are no Lebron/Cavs fans on the thread.

Sure, completely ignore the other posts where you're full of shit, cupcake.

I was just reading up to the bleeding edge of this thread, see how badly Shaqdaddy was frothing over Kobe, and remembered this bit:

Answer: Shaqdaddy

Pathetic.

Any time a discussion turns to Lebron James and where he fits in the GOAT conversation, Shaqdaddy goes off the fucking rails and starts shouting "LEBRON NUTHUGGERS," "ALSO, KOBE," and posts pics of James crying or getting ejaculated on.

It's like trying to have a rational roundtable discussion with a coked-up Chris Burke in the room.

And you still can't answer the question of the East now vs back then.

Jordan came into the league against the Celtics, Pistons, and Knicks. Lebron doesn't have a legit team in the East that could actually contend for a NBA title.

game over

Bulls won Eastern Conference titles vs 91 Pistons, 92 Cavs, 93 Knicks, 96 Magic, 97 Heat & 98 Pacers. Those Cavs & Heat teams were nothing special, but the other teams had some premier players (Ewing, Shaq, Bad Boys, Masons for Knicks, Reggie Miller, Davis' for Pacers, Hardaway, etc) that could compete in any era & very likely one or more of these teams would have won an NBA title if the Bulls didn't get in their way.

Compare this to the Cavs. Their Eastern Titles were vs. 2011 Bulls, 2012 Celtics, 13-14 Pacers, 15 Hawks, 16 Raptors & 17 Celtics. The last three teams don't even really belong in the conversation. The 2012 Celtics put up a fight, but they were an aging bunch. The 11 Bulls & those Pacers teams were talented, but I would not favor them vs the teams from the 90s.

Not really comparing Jordan vs. LeBron but IMO those 90s Bulls teams had a much tougher road than the Heat/Cavs teams. Anyhow - not sure why folks have this desperate need to compare these players especially now. Like someone else mentioned - why not just wait a few years to see how the rest of James' career unfolds.

Imagine all the MVPs Jordan would have won if it weren't for Magic and Bird. 2 of the top 10
Players of all time. Magic, Bird, and Jordan accounted for 8 MVPs in Jordan's first 8 years.

Imagine the "finals appearances" if the East didn't have teams like the Celtics or Pistons.

Larry Bird's last MVP was in Michael Jordan's 2nd year. The Bulls were 38-44 that year.

Suggesting that Jordan was competing for MVP in his first 2 years of his career is kinda laughable.

The point of the thread was to do a point in time comparison between the two players. As you said, Lebron's career isn't finished yet. Unless he gets a major injury it would be surprising if he doesn't have at least 6 more productive seasons. Perhaps not best player in the league productive but productive all-star caliber seasons.

We won't be able to measure their total careers until that time though. We can measure them based on year 32 careers.

To be fair, the Piston team he finally beat, was a shell of the Bad Boys edition people remember, and thats by their own admission if you ever watched the Bad Boys 30/30

Fair points. But it's not like the Bulls or Pacers teams would get trounced either. That Bulls squad was very talented. Same with the Pacers.

You're entire body of work on tHoop is laughable. You tard hard man look at you. :L Jordan won an MVP in his 4th year 1987-88. He came into the league with Bird and Magic dominating the MVP during the regular season. To say MJ wasn't competing is laughable.

Once again you are pretty stupid like this entire thread. Has Lebron had the 80s Celtics in the East? The late 80's Pistons? Point of the entire post is look at the competition MJ faced coming into the league, which is why he didn't have a cake walk for multiple "finals appearances" like Lebron has had

Of course. The Pistons were nothing. After back-to-back titles, dominating the NBA Finals. The Lakers were nothing. That's why Jordan won. Meanwhile, Lebron's East is stacked.

right? :tsk:
