How about Iowa's DB Ron Hawley knocking down the goalpost at Mich St while breaking up a pass in 1982? I couldn't find a video..

Lols Oly...I had no idea about the stats of the game, but knew I could get you to find them IF I threw out a bogus Beaver stat on that game. Congratz, you (UO) win.

Hard to believe UO only had 3 penalties in that game.

Found some old footage of that game Oly, not sure why you guys were flying the Greenbay Packers flag over Autzen that day.

November 25, 1971, the real Game of the Century, Oklahoma vs Nebraska. #1 Nebbish and #2 OU played a game that wasn't over til it was over. Nebbish won 35-31 in a great game as I can personally attest to. As an aside 3 teams in the same conference, Nebbish, OU and CU (Colorado) finished 1-2-3 in the country, a feat that had never happened before nor since.

ESPN Classic - Game of the Century left lifetime of memories

November 15, 1975 OU vs Missouri, the Go Joe, game. Joe Washington scores on a 71 yard run, with around 4 minutes to play, to pull OU within 1 point and then scores on a 2 point conversion to put OU ahead for good. OU won the game 28-27.

Sept 24, 1977, OU vs tOSU. Third-ranked OU defeated fourth-ranked Ohio State 29-28 on Uwe von Schamann’s 41-yard field goal with 3 seconds remaining. Buckeyes coach Woody Hayes called two timeouts to “freeze” the Sooner kicker. The crowd chanted “block that kick.” Von Schamann got caught up in the moment and chanted with them before drilling the game-winner. OU led 20-0, then got an onside kick from Von Schamann in rallying from a 28-20 deficit. As an aside, tOSU beat OU in Norman, the next year, but it wasn't as dramatic as OU's win in Columbus.

What about the game where Missouri won because the referees lost track of downs and awarded them a 5th down? I can't remember which team they were playing or the date.

Thanks. That game was certainly memorable.
Don't know if it surpasses the Harbaugh over USC. One might have prevented a national title for USC, the other definitely gifted Colorado a share of a title.

09/11/2004. Georgia Tech @ Clemson. Freshman Calvin Johnson pretty much wins the game by himself for Georgia Tech. 8 catches, 127 yards, 3 TDs. The last one with 11 seconds left in the game to win the game 28-24. Here's the ending scenario. The best game I've seen out of our crazy rivalry:

I think what I will do for Jan 1st is do a "New Years Bowl moment" for each day after the Army-Navy game up to Jan 1st. I still will do other bowl moments or other moments during that time too.

I have found a lot of crazy moments. Like this past Saturday's. Minnesota vs Iowa Pre-Flight. Yes, Iowa Pre-Flight in 1942. IPF was a great program in their 3 year history.

Another one...

Nov. 11th, 1932 - Colgate faced Brown in season finale. Both teams undefeated. Every game Colgate played was a battle between undefeated teams. Every team went undefeated entering the game. Brown not only was undefeated, but they had not given up a single point the entire game and won 21-0 over Colgate.
