Can you help me? I know this is an off-season thread but I want to start it this year.

On a blog, I am wanting to start a On this day in CFB history blog where I give a description of a "game of the century", big upset, big play, big moment, etc. on the day it happened. After 50 posts in one day, it asks "Are you a person and not a robot" pop up thing and makes it harder to type in it, or I would have more.

Not to troll SC fans as this isn't meant to. But top ranked USC teams losing in Corvallis has some great history.

@mrwallace2ku or some of the Trojan fans may help ya with dates and years. I believe it has happened 3 times.

47th Straight Win

What was the record that they broke? I would actually be more interested in that then their final win. I do have the week after the OU-Mizzou.

Jan. 1, 1946 Rose Bowl. Bama 34 USC 14. Bama makes USC's asses quit, take their ball and run home, and tie in with the Big10 for all future Rose Bowls. Probly the single most important day in college football history, shaping the landscape of college football forever.

"This was the last Rose Bowl game played with "at large" teams from outside the Pac-8/Big 10 conferences. These two elite conferences openly admitted restricting the Rose Bowl, because they were tired of getting beaten by teams playing "hillbilly ball". The same reason they cited for not inviting them pre-1920."
