A 14.5 spread sounds like a bit much. Ole Miss has looked pretty good this season not to mention they probably should have beat Texas A&M on the road last year with a lesser team along with LSU last year. They can go on the road and compete, I'd take the under on the spread but still see Bama winning it.

No doubt they can give Bama a game, gave them a pretty good one last season. I'm a fuzz worried about it, just depends on which Bama team shows up.

I think there are some teams that can beat Alabama.
I just don't think Ole Miss is one of them.

Can Bo Wallace's offensive line give him time in the pocket?

Yes they can if they can turn it into a shootout. I'm not sure if there is a defense line in the country that is a match for Alabama's offensive line though.

You think GA runs the table into the SEC title game?

It will be a pretty good game. Ol Miss has the ability to make it more interesting than 14.5 points.

They might give them a game but I doubt it. I'm not sure Ole Miss is that good, they almost lost to Vanderbilt this year.

Hard to say. LSU is a really good team and we usually struggle against Florida (whether we win or lose). We're not as good as we were last season and our pass defense is really bad. Grantham can't keep letting our freshman DB get put on an island (South Carolina took advantage of that matchup all game against us). If we can survive LSU I think we have a good shot since Florida's offense is horrible but right now I don't think we'd stand a chance against Alabama. UGA usually struggles early and makes big strides in the middle to later part of the season so we'll see.

Last years A&M/Ole Miss game was in Oxford. Vandy scored 35 and had well over 400 yards on them. SE Missouri St. shut them out in the 2nd half. Their win over Texas proved they're on par with BYU who's 1-2. I'm glad to see all their boys talking so much trash. It usually leads to Bama domination.

Yea, thats one reason I think they have a good shot to do so. I think LSU and FL will bring better play out of them. They wont play down to the comp because these are teams that could be as good. Plus, FL's qb is out for the yr though the backup isnt a scrub. I think a clean game will win for them saturday. No turnovers or giving up big plays. It will be close though.

Agreed. A bad Texas team made Ole Miss look better than what they really are and really, there are only 2 teams in the SEC that have proven they aren't afraid of Bama (LSU and Aggy) and Ole Miss isn't one of them. Bama wins this one with ease, IMO.....

Verdict is still out on whether Ole Miss is "that" good. I think they have the potential to do it, but it's hard to judge based on a narrow escape from Nashville, beating a directional school, and a win against a questionable Texas team (sorry Texas fans, but it's true). I'll be pulling for them though. Maybe.

Who am I kidding. I don't give a fuck who wins this game.
