I agree. We've got a few injuries that are impacting us, held out 7 guys for that game, made some mistakes, but Bama will roll in SEC play.

Ole Miss will raise eyebrows in the first qtr, but they die when we smack them 3 or 4 times in a row.

Ole Miss could definitely pull off the upset, they will need to play a good game though and avoid turnovers while getting 1 or 2 takeaways. I think they just need to try and keep the game close and not let it get out of hand, then try to at least push it into overtime. A&M really showed the danger of digging too deep a hole to early, after the pick 6 to put Bama up 3 TD's A&M simply could not make enough plays on defense to pull it out. Needing a single stop on defense is one thing and very achievable, needing 2 or more and you are talking a complete defensive turnaround in very little time and very unlikely at that.

Ole Miss has a better front 7 on D than A&M so they may give Bama's offense fits and that will work to their advantage. While they don't have A&M's offense they might not need it.

Not sure how much more film will help, LSU defense is lacking. Guess that's what you get when you lose what 7 defensive starters. Linebackers look terrible, d-line has been average and the youth of the defensive backs will need a learning curve. Sad to say, the offense will have to carry this football team.

You are mostly likely right. Ole Miss will come out fired up early, and get their shit pushed in for the other 3 quarters

Their not better than A&M overall but their defense is much better than A&M. They rank 33rd in total defense while A&M is ranked 112th.

And yes I know their offense is not as good as A&M but they do have a damn good offense as well.

I really don't think Bama has played poorly this season, their defense just isn't as strong. Lets be honest, this is the season of offense. If there was ever a chance for a team outside the SEC to win it all it is this year.

If we had a defense, I'd venture to say we could make a run at it, but as it stands, our D will cost us a game or 2 at least.
