Hopefully FSU and Washington goes undefeated so we don’t get 2 SEC or BIG schools in the playoff.
My ideal would be...

1. B1G Winner
2. SEC Winner
3. FSU
4. Oregon

5. Texas

The possibility of either fsu or uga getting screwed out of the playoffs is priceless.....

So just to update on this from this weekend's games.

Control their destiny - win and in
Florida State
Michigan
Ohio State
Washington
Oregon
Georgia
Alabama

Need a little help
Louisville
Texas
Penn State
Ole Miss

Need a lot of help
Utah
Iowa
Oklahoma State
At this point it is going to be pretty chalky unless something really weird happens. Order of precedence probably looks something like...

B1G Champ
SEC Champ
Undefeated FSU
PAC Champ
Texas
12-1 ACC Champ Louisville
Non SEC Champ Georgia
12-1 Non-B1G Champ
No change this week.

I was hoping for a much shorter post on this information, but I had to go way down the rankings to be able to include georgia, michi, washington, and fsu's SOS rankings....... :dhd:

I think that there is a possible scenario by which even if FSU wins out, they get left out.

Obviously it would require a close win in either, or both, the OSU/Mich and Geo/Bama games. A Wash/Ore game could also throw a wrinkle in. Right now I'm leaning towards Bama winning the SEC championship. But unless it's a blowout, I'd have both Bama and Georgia in. Also the winner of OSU/Mich

Does anyone actually think that a 13-0 FSU would be straight up better than Geo, Bama, OSU, Mich, Wash or Ore? I don't and I'm an FSU fan.

I think so too. I think WA moves into the 4 spot tonight. probably should've last week. and no, it isn't because of the QB injury.

Getting down to the wire now. things will get played out, but there are some scenarios that could give the playoff committee a massive headache.

Consider:
GA loses to Bama in the SEC CCG.
OSU wins by 3 or less over scUM.
Ducks beat WA in PAC CCG.
L'ville beats FSU

Then who's in.......
imo....
1-OSU
2-Oregon
3-Mich.
4-Bama

Yes, a one loss mich. and bama look better than a one loss FSU, WA, TX. and no, don't see how GA gets a spot if they lose. Mich.'s loss will look better than GAs.

So it's all but cooked at this point. Here is your expected playoff seeding.

1. Georgia (win SEC)
2. Michigan (win B1G)
3. Washington (win Pac)
4. Oregon (win Pac)
5. FSU (win ACC)
6. Texas (win Big 12)

7. Bama (win SEC)
8. Georgia (lose SEC)
9. Michigan (lose B1G)
10 Ohio State
11. Washington (lose SEC)

I don't think it can mathematically go further than that. My money is on bolded.

Your bolded teams are the four that you think make the playoffs?

Ballsy to predict no SEC team in the playoffs. Also odd that UW falls all the way to 11 if they lose the SEC
Oregon and Texas are already in front of Bama and Texas has the H2H. Georgia won't lose and stay in.

FSU isn't getting in, even if they win the ACC. They simply are no where near being the fourth best team. I'd predict:

1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. Oregon
4. Texas
