So why isn't the Broncos/Patriots game postponed indefinitely - while the Broncos/Fins game goes on as scheduled? The Patriots are being catered to by the league.

and to think.. The Patriots bye week was next week anyway, so they screw up the Broncos, Chargers, Dolphins schedule and what happens to them? They get their star players back and really no scheduling issue on their part because their bye was next week anyway.

and the Dolphins bye week is now next week because of it, Chargers and Dolphins and Jaguars all have to adjust games. Jags were to play the Chargers week 8, but I don't see anywhere that they have adjusted that game in another week.

I think this was the agreed upon deal to go with the flow when they decided to kick off the league, but seems rather odd how this all works out for the Patriots just perfect while everyone else suffers. Yeah I get that we get Lock back for the Patriots game, but that isn't the point. They didn't have to postpone the game last week for the Chiefs when Cam Newton tested positive. You think if Brett Rypien and Michael Ojemudia would have tested positive they would have re-scheduled this game? No! I mean they didn't for the Saints when Burton tested positive the night before the game.

The league is making it up as they go along. My theory of the case is that the Patriots are being protected because they the League considers them Marquee Playoff contenders - and screw the other teams.

It should be a late slot given the postponement was nothing to do with the Broncos. Irritating.

It is really making it difficult on the Broncos. I hope this creates additional team chemistry.

I love how the league just arbitrarily removed the Broncos bye week. You can't call it a bye week after they've already spent it prepping for a team, so this idea that "This week is/was your bye" week is horse shit. The Patriots should have been made to play today. No two ways about it. Doesn't matter they had players missing: the league shouldn't be making exceptions for them. I don't see any exceptions being made for the Broncos due to our injuries.

Nfl is trying to avoid adding that 18th week but as soon as a team they had their bye gets a small outbreak like the Pats it’s inevitable that this year will be 18 weeks minimum
