Kearse was given a 2nd round draft grade.

Says he is not sure on his decision to declare. He has a national championship game to play in. I would expect him to declare after that game.

Keanu Neal will light you up at S.

Without knowing what Denver will do as far as FA/resign/trade, I would think Denver will be going O line early and prob 2 of them in top 4. Can't imagine rb or S will be even considered in rd 1. Who knows, some positions we regard as safe or solid, could be effected by money and that leaves anything possible and unpredictable. Even after we think we have a good clue of what Denver will do on draft day, odds are we'll be wrong and surprised. That's what makes it fun and intriguing.:)

I don't think Kubiak and Dennison have a history of going Oline early. The Broncos already have 3 young keepers out of 5 starters - in Paradis - Max Garcia and Sambrailo. Historically - these Broncos execs - have a history of bringing in FAs and drafting mid-round guys who get 1 year to marinate before they are reliable starters.

Elway also took Roby with the first pick . . I much prefer using a pick on the guy who will dominate at his position in the NFL, as opposed to a need ..

I think Kearse will do that ... The guy is 6'4" and runs like DT .... Put him on Gronkowski

Granted, highlight videos can make anyone look good, but still ... He's either #1 or #20 in the vid

Well I have watched his game against Notre Dame so far. His coverage skills I was very impressed with. I thought he had great range and didn't seem to take a ton of false steps. His tackling and run support leave a lot to be desired though. I saw him on quite a few occasions actually slow down to avoid contact. There were quite a few times that he could have at least helped in the tackle and instead just stopped and decided his teammates had the tackle.

Now I do think he fits well with what you are talking about of taking on those huge TE's. I just don't know if you can trust him to help out on anything but coverage. I view him as that 3rd down specialist. Not sure that is worth a 1st round grade.

You are right they do not have a history of taking OL early. Usually when he was with the Texans 3rd round was about the earliest they decided to look at OL. They had one big exception and that was Duane Brown in 2008. He did become their bookend LT ever since. Problem is that was a different time in NFL history. Ever since the new CBA was signed 1st round OT's have not fared well especially at the LT spot. So I can't see Elway wanting to leave that position to a rookie. My guess is they will either try to see if they can get one more year out of Clady, see if Sambrailo has developed, or trade for Joe Thomas to start at the LT spot. The other option that I would love to see happen is that of sign Donald Penn to a 2-year deal. This takes him away from the Raiders where he has actually done a very good job, doesn't cost us a 1st round pick, and I have a lot more trust in him to stay healthy.

I think without a day of FA gone by it is really hard for us to say what we expect on draft day, but we can sure speculate. :)

Haha yeah really tough when you don't know who your team signs. I mean if we sign say a Donald Penn or trade for Joe Thomas then I don't think OL is a concern at all. Let's say we sign Malik and Wolfe both. Well then DL probably drops down the list of when we need to take one on draft day. Let's say we go out and sign a couple of safeties as there are actually quite a few decent names hitting FA this year then I don't see Safety as a draft need.

Honestly with Elway I never quite know what he is thinking. He has been the king of buying low on a player and getting huge production. Every year he has brought in at least 1 player that has done that. Just to name a few we have Terrance Knighton, Darian Stewart, Emmanuel Sanders. All on pretty cheap contracts especially compared to their production.

I Don't like the Idea of buying a OL..

Spend the money on our DE and OZ

Well it depends how much you are going to spend. Good chance this next season that 3 of our starters are guys on rookie contracts in Sambrailo, Garcia, and Paradis. The 4th is probably Vasquez making $6.75 million. So not a whole lot at that point wrapped up in our starters. It would probably be one of if not the lowest total in the entire league. So then spending a bit of money to go get a legit LT seems to me like a very good idea. It eliminates one of our biggest question marks going into next year. Throw in the money going to Clady right now can be transferred to another LT that has a better injury history.

Here is what I would do if I were the Broncos. Sign Donald Penn away from the Raiders. He is a bit older being 32 so the market shouldn't be huge for him so his price shouldn't be outstanding. If you cut Clady you are then already paying less for the starting OL than what we would be if we kept the Contracts we have right now. So let's say you sign him to a 2-year $12 million contract. That seems reasonable where it doesn't kill the team but they get a proven vet at a very important position. So at that point you are spending less than $15 million on your starting OL and they look much better than what we have right now.

Kearse is gonna have to tackle better then he did on that play against Derrick Henry if he wants to improve on his 2nd rd grade to the first round.

He isn't quite the freak his uncle Jevon was, but still a nasty skillset, just raw with great tools.

Killebrew got that SR invite.. Love that guy. He is gonna be a stud in the NFL.

If we don't go Booker early at RB. Florida RB Kelvin Taylor would fit our system well too in rd 4.

There is the RB I talked about earlier.

Overlooked due to Yeldon and Henry in front of him.

Kenyan Drake just showed his speed and his ability as a return man in the open field.
