They say this guy is going to move to ILB in the pros. After Mosely there is really no one else until the 3rd and 4th round for ILB's. CBS compares him to Spikes. Could be a darkhorse candidate in the 3rd.

Im hoping for Baptiste in the 3rd and actually wont be to hurt if we trade down in the second to grab an extra 3rd maybe.

Baptiste should be there in the 3rd he didn't run well at all. I was hoping for Moncrief in the 3rd if we didn't pick up a WR in FA or at #34.

Yea but IM assuming that against my wishes they will take a WR in the second, so my CB will have to wait until the 3rd. IM gonig to have to have a long talk with Dan and Bruce if they take WR in the 2nd and 3rd.

If they sign a WR in FA its highly doubtful they take a WR in the 2nd. This would mean that Gruden has totally written off Robinson and Hankerson. Assuming if Mitchell and Roberts are signed in FA the 2nd round pick would have to address the o and d lines. Tuitt and Filo come to mind at #34.

HAnk is coming off a leg injury (knee), Robinson is not polished enough to depend on. Now trust me Im hoping we go either line or Defense in the 2nd round, but WR would not shock me if the draft were this weekend. As we get closer, I will likely change my mind.

Yes WR is a strong possibility if we don't pick one up in FA. Anyone could tell you that. Robinson is fine in a #3 WR role.

Ryan Shazier is another option in the early second. If he could add a little weight he could play inside. He is a hell of an athlete.

From nfldraftscout.com He is currently mocked to us by Walterfootball..

Ohio State linebacker Ryan Shazier was unofficially clocked at 4.36 seconds in the 40-yard dash Friday despite struggling with a hamstring injury. The 6-foot-1, 237 pound linebacker had previously wowed by leading the Combine with a 42" vertical and - oh, by the way - led the Big Ten with 143 tackles this past season.

Looking at his stature, he sounds like a helluva 3-4 ILB or a 4-3 OLB to me.

I'd be very happy with Shazier in the second.

So if we sign two FA WR's(Roberts and Lafell) skinsdad we still take a WR at pick #34?

If Shazier can play ILB then yes he is a target at pick #34 especially if we lose Riley. His athletic ability is off the charts.

We aren't going to sign two FA WRs before the draft. That would make no sense and neither of those WRs are difference makers. In the second you may get a difference maker at the WR position. That being said, Shazier at 34 is very good value. He was a great player in college and he has good size but his pro day performance makes him an extreme value at 34.

I agree with you but according to skinsdad you take the BPA. I think you have to look at what we did in FA. There is a report that we are looking at Nicks and Roberts. So I wouldn't rule it out gkekoa

I don't care if you do take Nicks and Roberts...neither is guaranteed to do much for us. If BPA is a WR, take WR.

What? If we get Nicks it will be for a huge deal and should produce. Nicks, Roberts, and a WR at #34? What? I would be very upset. If don't care if that WR is Lee at #34 you have to pass.

What has Nicks done the last few years? Nothing at all. He didn't even have a TD last season. There is no reason to give the guy a big deal when he hasn't produced in three years.
