No one around here but maybe myself wants him. Much like Alex Smith, he wins in unorthodox ways but gets it done. Would I prefer a better option? Certainly, what better option will be made available? This I'm not certain. Things will start to unfold over the next 30-60 days which will make that picture more clear heading into FA and the draft.

Enough Alex Smith / JG types for washington. Both the wft last year and Niners this year made the playoffs and won in the playoffs despite their qb’s, not because of them.

We have a game manager already. We definitely dont need two of them. TH is a game manager bc he cant make all the throws, but he is better than simply a game manager bevause of his moxie.

Why we’d want somebody who is essentially the same level of talent as TH is beyond me.

Hell, JG pribably is benefiting from great playcalling from Kyle….

I said I'm on board with JG however, NEVER did I say give up $27M per year to sign him, hell no!

I would kick over every rock this off season looking to upgrade at the QB position. I would NOT gut a draft or sign a vet to some outrageous contract to QB this team however. We are likely not in the Wilson, Rodgers, Watson sweep stakes as much a Ron would not like to admit. We are in the next tier down of Mariotta, Carr, JG and a few others. Is that necessarily an upgrade? Probably not so its looking more and more like pick #11 becomes our next QB and I would be ok with Pickett at 11 and moving forward with his development. Due to the lack of talent on its current roster, we are likely a year or two away from having all pieces in place including a QB to contend anyways so I'm leaning towards the draft as our viable QB starter.
