Carr would be a great fit for us. That is the guy we should be focusing on, not the big 3. The big 3 dont want to come here anyways so lets just mov on from it. Its either Carr or draft a qb at 11. Either way we are better than last year with Heinkie. RR is not on the hot seat. No need to make rash moves.
What makes you think Carr wants to play for the Skins?

Are the Raiders so dissatisfied with Carr that they would rather trade him than resign him?

I was listening to the radio today and the talk is the Raiders are afraid they are gonna lose him for nothing next year. He's in his last year. They made it sound like the question is does Carr want them?

Don't want get stuck in a Cousins situation. Maybe the Raiders try to get in front of it the way we should have with Cousins an deal him to the highest bidder.

We'll see.

I had not considered that it might be Carr that wants out. And after seeing what happened with Washington and Cousins...moving Carr this offseason makes sense if he wants out.

Tbe one year left and a trade theory is how much do you give up for a QB with one year left on his contract? He is due just under $20 million. Relatively cheap in today's market. Almost $6 million less than Grap for one year.

I couldn't make the trade unless I had a commitment from Carr.

@kbso83432 answer is as good as any I could come up with. Though for me personally. I can't see any player who's serious about winning a SB title in the next 5 years or so. Deciding that Washington is a team where they can achieve that goal and I think Carr is serious about winning.

That's the issue. Why would anyone choose here. This is where I'm watching Ron and Jason. Ron is not an elite coach but his former players swear by him and right or wrong he's the culture guy.

Ron is a good to above average coach, but where he can earn my belief is if he can truly change the culture and make Washington a desirable destination again.

Can't tell you how much this helps if you are a Skins fan hoping for Watson. They had two 1st in the top ten and a spot for Flores.

let me fix that caption for them: GM Joe Schoen wants to keep Daniel Jones, winning not important.

This is a very good move for the NYG's that basically boils down to conceding to the fact that Jones isn't an elite QB. Even though they drafted him as high as they did, what they are going to do... build the team around him so that he can be the best manager that he can be. Got lemons, make lemonade!

I said I'm on board with JG however, NEVER did I say give up $27M per year to sign him, hell no!
well you did mention offering the Niners this years first and next years first along with Payne for Jimmy. I was outraged by that if you recall...
Our fuckin'-ass Delaware governor has instituted another stupid mask mandate. A few months back I had a REDSKINS face mask made up, so I feel that I am making a stand every time I put it on.
Im all for masks indoors .... and in crowded spaces but....only if they are KN95 or don't bother its a joke

I get your fatigue and outrage with the mixed messaging, flat out incorrect messaging from all sides....

and the flip flopping policies State to State and nationally... that are sheer ineptness on the part of the CDC and government agencies. its been a TERRIBLE job communicating information accurately from day 1 ... ever since we first heard of this blasted COVID 19 and all its mutant variants since.... (fyi - we don't touch politics on this board so thats as far as I will go with that)

I know, he makes $24M next year which after watching this playoff performance, I cannot really say that's enticing but, it is a comfortable 1 yr deal. Grap, Heineke and rookie for 1 year. Given that I would prefer a rookie, Heineke and a 1 yr bridge like Bridgewater to get by. Either way, we are in for a tough season at QB next year no matter how you slice it...
