I've read a couple of his books and he has done some good Black Panther comics. He's good.

I hope they do the Doomsday storyline or the whole Age of the Supermen story

Its really not. Apparently he has been a character since 2009.

This isn't a replacement of the original Superman but a seperate entity in the DC pantheon. No different than many different offshoots of established characters in comics. We could list dozens that fall into this category. This one is black so some people are going to freak out for no real reason.
