Makes sense. Clark is supposed to look young, naive and idealized. Lois is the hardnosed reporter. Lois looking a bit more mature than Clark fits the basic narrative.

He will have to bulk up, but he does look like a younger Henry Cavill. They did fine with the casting, now comes the easy part in creating a stellar Superman movie.

Isabela Merced will play Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi will be Mister Terrific, and Nathan Fillion will portray a Green Lantern (although not necessarily the Green Lantern.)

I've heard fans saying that for years. And he did provide Hal Jordan's voice in Emerald Knights, so this is his second run playing a Green Lantern.

This goes unsung. He really did take a goof ball that had no business being a superhero and created probably the best Marvel franchise in guardians of the galaxy with a bunch of at best B list celebrities. This was a hall of fame level work and success done by James Gunn.

Annoying character, for sure. But she fit a characterization that was actually way before it’s time.
