I'd prefer for scum like him to get out of my state. The sooner the better.

If Hack leaves, I'll order a hit.

I don't think he will. Seems like he was dead set on playing for PSU long before all the BS went down.

I hope I'm right.

I just feel bad for the players

And I really hope Vandy leaving wasn't O'Briens doing, only to ditch the program a few weeks later

I was thinking about this.... It seems to me like they were given a heads up that major changes were coming. I had hoped that it was just that BoB wanted more control.

Penn St fans are dumb if they are getting upset. How greedy are you to be mad at a coach for taking a better job? If you were offered a better job than what you currently have, you'd take it in a heartbeat.

If he was making a lateral move or even dropping down to some team like Western Kentucky I could see being upset. But upset over a step up? It's just wrong.

Be happy for him, geez.

Penn State had to see this coming when they reduced his buyout by 13 million dollars

ESPN is reporting that o Brien and the texans are hoping to finish up a deal by next week. This is a shame imo he had Penn st on the right track. Good news is that the players are resilient there and with a reasonable hire I dont see much of a dropoff.

Incoming Penn State recruit Thomas Holley, the school's second-highest ranked recruit in 2014, told ESPN.com that he had a conversation Saturday with O'Brien, who told the defensive lineman that he way staying with the Nittany Lions.

"He said it's not true, he's going to be at Penn State and he's going to be there for me when I get there," Holley told ESPN.com.

What a freakin mess, I hope he keeps his word to the recruits.

Obrien should go...already proved he is a liar to his players,...probably the worst thing a coach can do. Now we know he has no credibility....piss off bill..

Penn St. fans should be thankful. It could be worse. They could of got the Steve Sarkisian treatment. Weeks before he bailed, he was already recruiting kids with the intent of them joining him at USC while paying lip service on Seattle radio that he never interviewed for the job.

While we ended up with who many perceive as a coach upgrade, Sark did everything he could to fuck us on his way out the door. To make sure he could inflict max damage on a conf rival and kill two birds with one stone.

If O'Brien leaves, it's bad timing, but at least it's to the NFL.

Part of a coaches job is lying. It's part of the job, especially at the NCAA and pro level. They are like politicians who coach sports. Anyone who believes otherwise, is utterly naive.

Not a chance if these boldfaced lies to kids are true.
