I liked using Arkansas with McFadden and Michigan with Hart. Definitely my go tos when playing co op against friends or relatives.

Michigan also had Mario Maningham that year I think. Great target in the air.

Whichever one had Georgia Tech with Calvin Johnson, James Johnson, Choice and Ball I was damn near unbeatable.

Speaking of GT, the option in that game was SOOOO fun to run. I ran the Wishbone at Vanderbilt and dominated after a few years of recruiting some decent lineman.

Alabama actually had a loaded roster that season, but Shula couldn't coach. DJ Hall and Kenneth Darby on offense were hard to stop in that game. Also had Wallace Gilberry on defense.

I never played it, but I believe that 98 was the last version available for the PC.

I had 97 for the PC, but I never played that either.

Only game I used to buy every year back in the day. The one with the Michigan QB with dredds was the last one I remember buying. Seems like every year I played the dynasty mode fucking Army and Navy all the sudden turned into powerhouses 5 years down the road.

That was 14, the last game that released. And yeah, they would become elite for whatever reason. I guess because of the triple option.

I say 14 due to consistently updated rosters and the best gameplay. I actually enjoy recruiting, it makes bringing a created F school in everything that much more of a challenge.

I enjoy recruiting on 14, it just takes up so much time for me to actually go for who I want to get and properly evaluate them. Especially in season.
