Why is he a troll? Some of you guys were saying we were a 10+ win team this year with this schedule prior to the season. I remember catching a little heat for saying we were a 7-9 team. I see 5, maybe 6 wins on the schedule now including the wins we have.
I think Marvin appears to be decent in a front office roll just because of how bad we've come and all of our previous coaches through the 90s - considering the 'front office' was really nothing.
I feel like we just have to accept this franchise will just be spinning tires in mud until Mikeyboy dies.
I can't say the drafts - which have been decent - are any better than many teams. Marvin has also had the luxury of drafting with higher picks than many teams.
On paper we've had some good drafts, but when it comes down to on field production, I feel like we've only gotten a couple key contributors. Andre Smith, AJ, Atkins, and Dunlap when he is on the field are really our only guys now that I would call worthy of being 'good picks.' Everyone else (Dalton included) just seems serviceable at best. With as high as our picks have been for him, Marvin and MB definitely could have done better.
We need a #2 in the worst way. Cleveland's defense sucks, but this go-around they had film on our offense and didn't give up nearly as much yac as they did the first time.
We're well on our way to a 5 or 6 game losing streak now.....I find it funny how the broadcasters were talking about Weeden being ready to lead a team to victory now....if he is, it's only against the Bengals......
