Steelers will likely face the Ravens in the first round of the playoffs, I don’t see the Steelers winning that game, Ravens have too much talent, their O is too explosive and their D too strong for the Steelers to beat them IMO. It‘s a heated divisional rivalry so it will be interesting but I don’t see the Steelers winning it.

Pickens getting into a shouting match with Pittsburgh fans is unreal. For the last 2 years he's been a whiny prima donna and when he has a bad game he should hear about it, he has no problems bitching about teammates when things go bad for them.

For the 5th time in a row

0-4 to end the season, plus a 6th straight playoff loss next week. Would that be enough to shake up the coaching staff?
As long as Tomlin keeps his streak of not having a losing season alive he won’t go anywhere.

He’s somehow a great coach and a terrible coach at the same time.

This was a satisfying loss for me. A win to end the season and a potential win against the Texans would spell status quo of the mediocrity.

Perhaps the FO will wake up after 5 straight losses to end the season and 0-6 in the playoffs.

If theres a team that will upset bmore at home its us. i dont think it happens. But if theres on coach that seems to have harbaughs number and win when he shouldnt….its Tomlin

That's what WRs are. What they've always been. Well, many from the 70s and 80s.
We wouldn't hear from then like we do now.

The WRs today contact demands simply aren't worth it. You'd rather a solid OL and solid defense waaaaay over a great WR. Notice anyone a few things even in the current NFL?

Here
Diggs leaves the Bills and acted like a little diva. Josh Allen thriving. CJ Stroud? Having a worse season.

The Chiefs, didn't pay Tyreek Hill. Won back to backs and believe it or not,.more about the defense, which they wouldn’t have if they didn't have Chris Jones.

The Bengals as good as their offense has been with the high priced WRs etc and Burrow are barely hanging on cause their defense has been horrible for most of the season.

I agree with the idea, but it's not like the Bengals overinvested in receivers and didn't spend money on defense and offensive line. Their receivers have been on rookie deals the last number of years. They spent a bunch of money and draft capital on defense and they are awful - So, it's not just about how you manage your assets, but you have to at least get some things right when building that D. That is what has sustained KC even as their offensive production has gone down.

Just saw enough of the game to say Pittsburgh has a #1 WR problem.
From a performance standpoint, yesterday was an anomaly.

As far as attitude, the Steelers have had receiver problems for at least the last decade.

George Pickens - problem
Antonio Brown - problem
Mike Wallace - problem
Diontae Johnson - problem

I could go on... historically the Steelers have relied more on journeymen such as Hines Ward, Randle El, Heath Miller, Pat Freiermuth, etc.

Team chemistry on offense and a team-first mindset haven't been what they used to be for that same decade. That's all on the coaches.

@dtgold88

Okay who da hell is this Bailey Zappe, did the Browns hold a contest last week and winner got to be QB for a day? Can't say I've heard of him.
Played for NE for a while (mostly backup)....pretty sure he had a great game in a blowout win vs. us the year Barrett started for a while.

Absolutely brutal drop by Flowers there
Have to say that was a very surprising comment they made a few times about Raven WRs. Flowers is the 1st PB WR ever for Ravens

Current Brown FO takes a lot of crap by fans for not drafting a stud WR here. Now keep in mind been here all of 5 years (Ravens nearly 30), often did not have a 1st rounder and traded 2nd rounders (once for a decent WR in Moore) and traded for PB receivers Cooper and Jeudy.

Now in no way am I saying our FO better than Raven FOs....only that the WR narrative here way overblown.
