Especially when they are predictable and have zero pass protection.

It drives me nuts when the offensive line is still up and moving trying to set the protection with 5 seconds left on the play clock. Why aren't they at the LOS with more time on the clock, IE get the damn call in to the QB, he needs to call the freaking play and you need to be at the LOS and lined up with 10 to 15 seconds on the clock, set the protection, make the call and go. Instead you get caught with your pants at your ankles with 3 seconds on the play clock and have to roll. That "deliberate" style, to me is a really pig headed way to go about it. It ls so limiting and it irritates the hell out of me.

So I have to ask Seattle fans why the Seahawks went 3-6 and home this season. What the hell happened to the 12's? I thought that was a significant home field advantage and they protected home field well.

Looking bleak for the Steelers now, their O is just not very good.

And this drives me nuts also. Where they finally go up tempo when it is too late.

I watch teams do it all the time. It makes me think they believe that's OK and I don't understand that. Call the play with the check, get to the line and line up where you're supposed to line up. Listen to the QB stay with the call or make the check to the audible, set the protection and any alignment adjustment and go. Instead we see guys dancing around on the outside, not sure where to line up, lineman standing up and down and finally getting the play set up with 2 on the play clock and often it's still a mess at the snap and you can tell. They're making it way to complicated and I don't see the need.

My optimism level always rises when we punt because the ball ends up in opponent territory.
