You are so determined to attack Lebron you've given up on any semblance of rational thinking.
It's funny how so many people are doing that yet we're in the wrong.

I guess. One of the most competitive guys ever would just accept his fate and play for some middling team if had the chance to play for a ring? To each their own but no way I believe it.
I thought it was 22 million but ok. Allegedly Jordan was ready to sign the deal, the initial Bulls offer was $18 million. Supposedly his agent gave the Bulls one hour to respond and they did.
That Time Michael Jordan Almost Joined The Knicks In 1996
We don't need to mythologize these guys. Jordan was an incredible player but he's a human being as well and maximizing his earning potential was just as important to him as everyone else.
I'm still waiting on how the Dubs are gonna beat the Bulls with 4 really good defenders.
Steals all time:
Jordan #3
Pippen #6
Ron Harper #23
Rodman
Jordan with 9 all NBA 1st team defense, Pippen with 8, Rodman with 7.
How easy are those shots going to be?
I never said Jordan would leave. In fact, I said he never would (for competition purposes). Lebron wasn't as strong-willed and went chasing short-cuts to rings, cheapens the accomplishments.
Lebron is a ring chaser and has failed at that many times. To even consider him as the GOAT is laughable for that reason alone.
And KD isn't a ring chaser?
Probably has a lot to do with those offensively challenged teams Jordan and the Bulls got to face
So you are saying Jordan and Co were not that good defensively? That all those steals and accolades should have an asterick? And that Golden St faced stout defenses all year?
This year in the NBA there was 29 out of 30 teams that average over 100 points per game.
In 97-98 there was 5. Tells me the lack of D being played today in regular season (it's no secret) and the type of D being played back in the 90s.
Excellent defenses, but never played one offense I could think of that bodes the offensive talent that GS does.......I dont think GS has faced stout defenses all season, but I do think we know when we are watching an all time offensively talented team......I think Durant, Curry and Thompson are fierce offensive players in any era
Absolutely, and the game has changed in the way these teams are drafted and coached....The focus in both those areas is to get the athletic wing types that get up and down, score, shoot the 3, etc.......And lets not forget the big man is basically extinct now, which means the half court offense is almost extinct
Not in the 90s. Durant and Curry get their skinny asses pounded. In either era the Bulls still D their ass up all over the court.
Seattle was the only team back from 1996-1998 that averaged over 100 points per game. For their time, the Sonics could run up and down the floor and score. Phoenix had a good offense in the West the year they went to the finals.
Different game today for sure. But the Bulls aren't lying down for anyone.
Yeah, not so sure about that.....Guys with the same size and skill set of the Durants and Currys' back in the day had plenty of success
Who in the 90s? Late 80s? Curry and Durant have barely any muscle. I can't think of any superstar back then of their size that scored 25/game.
Karl Malone, Shaun Kemp, Anthony Mason, Oakley were beasts. Curry still looks like a kid
