The greatest football player of all time and one of the most incomparable American athletes of any era, Brady had never so much as hinted at retirement before the past few weeks. It certainly isn't because of his play, which remained at an MVP level for 2021. Brady's family and the lack of anything left to prove seemed to be the deciding factors. It's every Free Agent QB now knows Tampa will be looking for a QB, Every team looking to deal a QB now knows.

Same here. That said, with age comes wisdom and experience and I have no doubt that if Brady is holding some type of animosity towards NE he'll get over it.
