They are topical if a person is a football fan. The same way the Niners, Cowboys, Chiefs, Bills, Lions, Bengals, etc… are topical. People think those teams can compete for a Super Bowl. It’s not RTK making the Eagles topical. What’s funny though is how upset and passive aggressive you get whenever anyone posts about the Eagles here.

Herbert does all of it in the air. Which is more sustainable. But I'd take Hurts head to head if I had to win.

Rodgers was the back to back MVP before last year, even with that retarded offense in Green Bay. He's also been a top 3 QB almost every year for over a decade, so no need to rush Hurts up the list. I trust Hurts enough to pick him head to head again here, but he needs to keep doing it.

Herbert has higher chance for a longer career

and I think debate between him and Hurts is a good one, hurts is also on a better team.

Cowboys deserve mention here. The difference between Eagles, Cowboys and Niners is the QB position. Both Dak and Hurts are top 10 QBs. Niners have Purdy coming off of injury who may not be ready to start the season. They also have Trey Lance. They’re unsettled there despite having a great roster like the Cowboys and Eagles. The two best teams in the NFL are in the NFC East and arguably 3 of the top 5-6 are in that division as well.

Good point. If anything, the Cowboys are the most disrespected team in the NFL. I've gotten used to them underperforming and they were an afterthought to me until I just looked up their record last year. Giving it some thought, they should definitely be considered as top tier. Outside of DAL, PHI, and SF, the NFC should be pretty wide open for next best. I'm hoping the Seahawks live up to the hype I've internally built up for them.
