What could be worse than a decade of those evil cheating cousin fuckers in Tuscaloosa winning it all every other year?

Washington doesn't need this bs. First it was California's state travel ban and now this shit. I don't care if Washington has to join the MAC ... just get us the fvck out of this messed up conference.

Then leave...you'll be taking a massive paycut.

Still doesn't change my post.
The PAC is dying for fvcks sake. It's one step away from G5 status and it's getting worse every year. You have no idea how bad I want to see Washington gtfo of this messed up basket case of a conference.

So instead of being 1 step away from the G5, you'd rather join a G5? :pound:

Also, don't blame the conference when it's YOUR TEAM who continually shits the bed in OOC play.

Who's putting state travel bans in place while attempting to pay college athletes even though they know it's going to fvck them with the NCAA. You might want to pull that Cali c0ck out of your mouth and start thinking of the consequences if this shit goes through.

This will have no substantial consequences for the PAC12. Don't confuse your hatred for California politics with that simple fact.

OH MY GOD! PLAYERS THAT HAVE MARKETABLE SKILLS MIGHT GET PAID FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!

The sky is falling. What's next, dudes in the CSCI departments might get very generous compensation for internships at tech companies with job offers written into the agreement?

Yeah, the sky is falling.

How would this affect Washington, Oregon, Utah, Arizona, etc?
You think the Cali schools are going to participate in sports that they have no chance of playing for an NCAA championship and do you think Washington is going to be in the same conference with schools that pay their players? gtfo with that.

Yes to both. Washington's daddy is the California schools. They'll keep sucking that teat until they get pried off. There is 0 chance in hell UW leaves the PAC.

It's incredibly more likely that the Washington legislature passes the same bill.

Washington brings in more revenue than any of the Cali schools. Washington needs them like they need a case of HIV.

The NCAA can destroy the entire Pac 12 conference with one fail swoope of ya, you guys can do this and not comply with Title IX. The commissioners office will side with women’s golf over the two revenue generating sports.

Who cares about the politics behind it. The bill makes sense. You have this body telling kids with very marketable skills to turn away loads of cash because of no good reasons. If Nike or Adidas wants to make it rain for them then who is anybody to stop them? You look at this whole Adidas shit show and the only reason that anything illegal happened is because the NBA came up with this stupid one and done rule and the NCAA has their ridiculous restrictions on players getting any sort of competition. Take that shit away and it's a guy paying for a prospect with the hopes of future reward, which happens all the damn time.
