Teams as good as we are "supposed" to be do not often suffer the type of loss we suffered on Sunday. This is very much a response game, an identity game. If the Giants angered the Hulk and we are as good as our press clippings say we are, then Seattle is in for ass-kicking and there is not a damn thing they can do about it.

However, if there is any measure of pretender in us, then we could, for the first time, lose two-in-a-row under Harbaugh and find ourselves tossed right back into transition complete with all the doubts from the fans and all the fun questions from the media.

I agree but not fully. We have to give the hawks D some credit here. I can however see us shutting down the hawks O tho.

I didn't think he was on today or I would have listened. He usually has some pretty good predictions. He also drives me nuts at times.

Last weeks loss was pretty ugly, but going into the season I figured we would be about where we are so I'm not too worried. Although the losses were to teams I didn't think we would lose to. We should win this game by at least 10. Seattle has a good defense but at home we should be able to score in the 20's and hold them to 10 points. The key is pass rush. It didn't exist in both the losses.

but it might very well end up a tough D to run against? if we have success running, then obviously keep at it. if not much success, i'd start to add a little more short, high percentage passes.

how long before we know it is a tough run D? there's no exact answer but i'll throw out............around 15 rushes or a little less than half of your 35.

He was on with Mike and Mike, Golic was out this morning and he was subbing.

I think even if you aren't having a ton of success running, it's not smart to abandon it. Don't bang your head against a wall, but you have to keep them honest. It felt like last week we made ourselves one dimensional.
