I hate to say this since we used to be rivals back in the day but the most similar fanbase to the Chiefs is the Seahawks. No NBA team, they both have a baseball team thats relevant every decade or so. Passionate and loud fans for a long time. Lots of bandwagon fans, too.

But KC really isnt that hard of a place to play. STL Cardinals is way harder just in Missouri alone.

I'm a diehard fan of two teams, Seahawks and Canucks, and one actually has the Same issue right now.

Life long Canucks fan, like yours truly, think our coach is alright but our General Manager needed to leave along time ago.

I am seriously laughing at the idea KC is somehow too hard on its teams. The local media is borderline team propaganda most of the year.

I remember having to take various safety and first aid training to work in the oil patch. When it came time to write the exam the instructer would tell us if the multiple choice question has "all of the above", that will always be the answer.
In this case, the answer should be and always is Philly. Regardless of what other fanbases do to come close.

You have a point. But sports talk radio has two extremes. The guys who are completely in the tank for the team and the guys who are overly critical shock jocks.

It's never very measured and almost always one extreme or the other.

With that being said, Cousins is an asshole and if Mike Zimmer gets fired, Rick Spielman needs to be too. A GM should never get a second fall guy.
