Whereas Magic retired in 92, Those Lakers teams never won another playoff series

Who cares about 92??

Magic was All NBA and runner-up for MVP in 91 (when he faced Jordan), Worthy was All NBA, Rodman won DPOY, Dumars was All NBA/Defense, Isiah still an All Star (missing half the 91 season).

3. LeBron is very close to but not above MJ in resume

I've said it several times in this thread, I don't care if someone thinks it is MJ, I personally list them 1A and 1B. I take issue with the extreme narrative MJ homers have when it comes to LeBron while ignoring any possible flaw in MJs resume. And again, it's extremely damaging (imo) to the sport the amount of nonsense MJ homers hold on to, as it harms the trajectory of the sport.

I think that is a given that Jazz team would've been LeBrons maybe 7th best Finals opponent? 8th?

Ultimately 90s ball was pretty garbage overall and it was right after the LA, Boston, Philly teams and c right before the Lakers, Spurs dynasties of the 2000s

In that they were very very exciting. Got a LOT of publicity. But neither really ever beat anyone who was great and they both lost pretty much every time they competed with someone who was great ( MJ early Mike later )
