Just keep things in perspective, remember the offense last September, remember how many SB teams have looked bad in September (like last years... and remember how NO gave up 56 points to Fitzpatrick at home) and give it a little.

Yes, Trubisky looked horrible. Yes, the offense's timing was a disaster. However, we are utterly elite on one side of the ball and just not being a catastrophe on the other side will get us pretty far.

I agree to an extent. However, you beat an 8-8 team at best tonight. Our offense could be the worst in the nfl this year.

I wouldn't call being concerned about an abysmal offensive performance after, i don't know, 80 years of mostly poor QB play an overreaction.

I get the displeasure but it’s week 1. We won on the road in the division after only winning 6 last year. A W against anyone is great considering last season. Our O has a lot to clean up as well

Our offense has had a year to understand the system (seriously, no turn over outside of running back). The fact they could only muster 3 points against the packers is damning. The packers defense sucks.

I don't know... you can go back every year and find great teams who were horrendous in Week 1 or rough in September overall.

This game will be a distant memory in two months. Just like last year. Remember when people were hopping off of bridges? This is nothing compared to that. We melted down on both sides last year. This year we are utterly dominant on one side.

ESPECIALLY after no pre-season.

Week 1 is useless and every year people do this. Take mental notes of this for next year... for once, people.

Nah. I like the cut of your jib for doubling down here...but Mitch’s play today cannot be hid. It must improve not just some, but dramatically or he’ll be hiding himself from the NFL field in future years.

I hope you’re wrong man. We’ll know by this season’s end as by that time a player will have shown out their potential and at least some semblance of consistency. If he keeps throwing out stinkers like today as the season progresses its gonna be a sad story.

Yeah, and we'll still probably win 10 games. This team can win the Super Bowl riding the defense with a little more than a game manager. The offense just has to serviceable. It's September 5th. Tonight was atrocious, but good god people... lol
