Just wondering if you've picked Cleveland to advance to the ALCS?

I obviously want them to win. But just because I'm rooting for them to take car of business that doesn't mean I should pick them to advance.

I'm being realistic.

"I wouldn't even bother watching" <-------- what a dumb thing to say

What you want me to do, go 100% full homer and say Cleveland will advance to the ALCS?

Cleveland has to play a perfect series to pull off the upset. And I don't see that happening.
yeah I'm just messing with you. They are definitely an underdog but I think Cleveland has a better shot than some people are giving them credit for.
The Yankees are good but they didn't win 120 games or anything. Plus Yankee stadium is a little bit of an upgrade for a couple of those left handed batters. I could see Naylor or Gimenez jacking one out and that could tighten things up.

Yankees will take care of business.

This has been a great season for this young Cleveland team. But they don't have the weapons to keep up with NY.

Hopefully Cleveland doesn't get swept.

Just fly in some of those Cleveland midges…..

I had to google that. So they are like mosquitos or something?

That was one of the weirdest things I've ever seen.

From what I remember there was a dead calm on Lake Erie and those bugs were attracted to the lights of the stadium.

Biting flies, they assaulted Joba and he had a complete meltdown……
yeah for a second there I thought you had made a slur that would offend some of my buddies, who happen to be little people. It's weird, they find that offensive, but they still insist I refer to them as Grumpy, Sneezy and Dopey. Those can possibly be their given names can they?

Torre mentions that night as his biggest fuck up as a manager. Should have pulled the team off the field until the bugs subsided.

Yup, never understood how they just tried to play through it….

I don't make predictions on my team for the most part. I do think they have a chance bc this may be a young team but they have won a lot of close games and quite a bit of comebacks. They just can't get in a big hole in games vs this powerhouse offense.

I’m hoping Cleveland wins it, and I’m certain the Yanks lose before getting to the world series, so let’s go with the series going all five games.

It is baseball. Most unpredictable professional sport playoffs. Even hockey is slightly more predictable

Yep I agree. Would say MLB and NHL are 1 and 2. I mean the Braves won 88 last year and won it all. Every team left this year won more than 88.

if not the Mariners, Guardians. I'd be very happy to see Tito get another ring.

fuck Tito. Dude couldn't win a game to save his life with the Phillies, then he buys a few pairs of hipster glasses and suddenly he's freaking John McGraw, going to the playoffs and winning World Series's and shit.

I have no clue what's going to happen in this series. Other than Judge the offense has been pretty bad. Carpenter is back but has not played in an actual game in months. We need Stanton to get on one of his tears and Rizzo to hit clutch like he did earlier in the year. For the first time in ages the bullpen is a mess due to all the injuries. Who knows what Cole is going to do. Probably strike out 10 and give up at least 2 long balls.
