Yeah, those 3 Giants WS were built on pitching mostly, but the Giants somehow got great hitting performances from many unlikely sources in those postseasons and they got some really awesome luck on specific plays. Pence breaking his bat and double hitting that ball against the Cardinals felt like divine intervention. LOL.

And all that luck the Giants got in the 2010s felt like compensation from the baseball gods for the awful luck from the decades past. Some pretty good teams in the late '80s fell short and Bonds was the centerpiece of some very good teams. And the bad luck goes back to the 1962 World Series. I wasn't alive then, but apparently Willie McCovey hit the ball really, really hard only to find a Yankees glove.
