Damn, Verlander was gettable last night.

But they didn't get him. Some of the most non competitive ABs I've seen from Donaldson and Carpenter.

He left plenty of fat pitches over the plate and got generous inside calls that changed at bats….Carpenter & Donaldson looked lost and need to see the bench……Boone continually disappoints with his bullpen decisions…..He needs to be gone…..

Yeah, the ump was horrible, but 2nd and 3rd 1 out and Donaldson couldn't even put the bat on the ball 3 straight pitches. Different game if he gets even one of those runs in.

And you know you're preaching to the choir on Boone. Zero feel for the situation.

Astros are the better team but they shit the bed not fixing some major holes and sticking with an 80 year old first baseman
good call:suds:

Yuli Gurriel blasted a go-ahead solo home run off of Clarke Schmidt in the sixth inning on Wednesday night, powering the Astros to victory over the Yankees in Game 1 of the ALCS.

The 38-year-old broke a 1-1 tie with his 381-foot shot in the sixth inning, putting the Astros on top for good. It was his only hit in four at-bats on the night. Gurriel is having a nice postseason, slashing .389/.389/.722 with a pair of homers and two RBI

And we still won 106 games... Yuli has the ability to get hot right now and carry the team...

Keep doubting him... He has played every position on the infield so we always have a capable backup if someone gets injured..

I want the Astros to win because I want to see Dusty Baker get another chance at a WS ring and hopefully finally win one.

I actually don't hate the Yankees. I love all the old stories of the Yankee legends.
I do too, but they're the team you hate if you're not a fan. Happened when they were outspending everyone in the 80s and 90s, and also they win all the titles (or used to). They're like the Patriots or Lakers that way.

I sports hate the Lakers too but love the stories of their greats from the old days.

The Angels comeback in the 2002 WS was like straight out of a Disney movie. LOL. I'm still not over it.

I’m still not over basically a random wind gust blowing it out

Any other pitch and it’s a routine out

He caught the exact time to get a gust out of the park

Dude slammed his down (might’ve broke it) cause he knew he didn’t barrel it

I already sports hate the Dodgers in baseball. There's no room for other baseball teams.

My hate bandwidth is wide.

But if it's Yankees v Dodgers I will root for the Yankees.

Are you talking about his HR in Game 6 of the 2002 World Series? If so, I didn't know anything about wind gusts.
