Gallo had his best game as a Twin last night. 4/4, 2 homers, 4 driven in. His ABs looked like he cared.

Throw Keuchel with the worst stuff in major league history, get battered around and lure the Phillies into a false sense of security. Punt game 1.

Then throw Lopez and Gray with nasty sweepers right after.

And the Phillies have cooperated. Both guys didn’t have to throw pitches in the strike zone to get outs.

That call he wrung Bohm up on last inning was horrible and no excuse for missing it. At no point in time was the ball ever in the strike zone. The fucking shadow cooperated. If it’s in the shadow it’s out and he just fucked it.

If the Twins are fortunate enough to make the playoffs. Rocco Baldelli needs to be shot in the fucking face(literally) before Tuesday October 3rd.

This piece of shit cannot manage playoff baseball.

He just pulled Sonny Gray after 6 innings and 80 pitches. 2 hit shut out. 6-9 hitters due up. His 6th inning faced Harper, Casty, Stott. He retired them on EIGHT pitches. He threw EIGHT strikes. 2 Ks then a ground out. Nearly a immaculate inning but Stott grounded out. PULLED HIM.

Jax comes in and gives up a single to Jake Cave(LOL), some back up catcher with a .550 OPS(LOL) and then beans a rookie on a 0-2 pitch(LOL). Thankfull THielbar came in and got a pop out then K to end it.

Only thing is, the K was ball 4. More awful umpiring and Philly got fucked.

Yeah Jax loves to hang the 0-2 sweepers to lefties. Hes actually been very good but just a dumb move. Inexplicably dumb.

Let Gray do the 7th. If he struggles. Go to Jax. If he gets out of it.

Thielbar gets the 8th to face Scwarber and Harper. If it extends then you can use Jax there before Duran.

Basically just wasted a pitcher for no reason. Now we have to hope Thielbar and fucking Pagan can survive the 8th together.

Twins patient young lefties Julien, Wallner, Kirilloff get called on that all the time so im used to it.

But yeah, combine it with a pitch that full blown changed the game last inning and id be irate too.

Yup 100%. It seemd like Castellanos and Stott were zoned out of their ABs and Pagan just came in with straight gas and threw it through them.

It is BS though. I dont want robo umps but at the same time "human element" argument cant extend to blatantly wrong calls. There are certain pitches being called strikes these days that cannot possibly be hit

Thank you the Indians BP. Somehow they are still 7th in BP ERA. It seems like they blow so many games but I get the offense doesn't give this staff much support most of the time. When they do-they blow it. Clase 22 out of 31 saves is a bad ratio

Yeah Clase randomly hitting a massive wall(for him) this year has been big.
