I rarely get excited over preseason football even when the teams look good. I'm still a skeptic of the Steelers offense. Too much evidence over the past 2 years to the contrary. Regardless of talent, I've seen an offense that was always too predictable & too many piss poor playcalls in situational football. That sort of stuff rarely just "flips a switch" in the course of a single offseason. Kenny looks to have taken a step forward which will help, but we'll have to wait & see how this team responds as the season progresses. I will say this though, the entire team's confidence is through the roof. That is what makes this year feel different than years before. But then again, thinkin back on the Killer B era when this team "should" have achieved more... This team may still have that dysfunction or aptitude to disappoint in the end.

This division is always tough. Throw the records out the door because it rarely matters when these teams face off against each other. I've seen the Ravens field starting lineups with UDFAs and still compete down to the wire.

All that said... I'd still happily write an epic apology post to Matt Canada if this offense turns things around & they end this playoff drought.

Back in 2017 my team went 4-0 in the preseason.

Then when it counted they went 0-16.

Idiots can't even lose right.

0-16 in 2016 would have sounded much better.

officially he was 4 for 8 in the preseason but he had 2 misses wiped out by penalty

Aside from Justin Tucker, it happens to all kickers sooner or later. Probably just going through a tough spell. I wouldn't be surprised to see him catch on somewhere else in a few years. But yes, it had to be done.... You can't go into the season with that sort of disadvantage.
