So we have now established that we have no idea how many teams were seriously pursuing Watson (vs doing due diligence) or what they were willing to trade or what sort of contract they would of done with Watson. All we have are media articles which we can pick and choose based on whether or not they confirm our bias.
What we know as fact is the Browns traded the farm for Watson, then gave him a mind boggling contract that guaranteed every penny.
