The I hate the Seahawks crowd couldn't have picked a better spokesperson to fight out about trash talking than you.

All fan bases support their teams here but aren't so obnoxious as Seattle fans. The Seahawks fans on SportsHoopla seem to relish trash talking and deriding other teams. My advice to them is too show a little humility for a change.

I disagree with this. I can think of several Cowboy, 49ers, Steelers, Packer, and Saints fans who are quite obnoxious...at least as bad as the worst Seattle fans.

GnG constantly spouts trash about the Seahawks and their fans talking trash. The hypocriscy is thick, heavy, and rather smelly.

There is no hypocrisy on my part as I support my team but don't constantly tell everyone how awesome they are. Until Seattle does something more relevant than winning only one SB please put a zipper on your mouth.

There are always a few bad apples among fans on other teams but a larger percentage of Seattle fans.

I see no proof of that. Percentages take into account number of fans posting...I'll agree that there are more Seattle fans posting than any others I've seen, but percentage wise, I think a much higher percentage of them are not bad apples.

You may be right but I'm only relating to what I've seen on SportsHoopla. The Patriots fans have remained classy despite being so dominant for the past decade. If any fan base has a right to be a little arrogant... they do.

Pats fans used to be worse until they started losing Super Bowls. It's honestly good to lose sometimes if your team has a winning addiction. Pats fans have absolutely been quiet and classy this whole season IMO.

True. While assholes don't represent the entire fanbase normally but in seattles case when the entire fanbase calls itself "12" and wear jerseys with "12" on them he may be correct in this case.

The team retired the #12 30 years ago. We had a rep before that.
We dig it.
It disgusts you.

When it comes to most sports teams, I consider all of their fans assholes and then manage on the exception.

To each their own I guess. I can count on four fingers how many decent SEA fans there are on the Hoop.

I could easily pick out 2 Cowboy fans that are decent fans. I'm sure there are more...thinking...

I think it's in the last 4-5 years it's become clear that Seattle has this obsession with being the "best fan base" that ever lived IMO. The rest of America thinks the "12" is a joke but it must be something in the water up there. Passionate about your team? Awesome. Telling everyone on a daily basis about it? Weak. NFL has been around a long time and you guys are no more passionate than lion, Panther, insert team here fans.
That's why the mocking of your fan base is around these boards IMO. If it doesn't pertain to you disregard it.

We are quite proud and we do live in an area of the country that digs football. When on MNF Al and Chris talk about the 12th man (which they do every time we are on), it really gets under the skin of many NFL fans who are not fans of the Seahawks. I can understand it. MNF is just one example of media reporting that it is loud in Seattle.
You blame us for this, calling us assholes over it.

Most Cowboys fans conduct themselves with class on this site. I don't hear very many ranting and raving on how awesome their team is like most Seahawks fans do.

I really don't pay much attention what is said on MNF or any other telecast. The boorish behavior of Seahawks fans on this site is what is most aggravating to most folks posting here.
