i think the same guy also tried to say at the beginning of last year that the difference in hitting between Iglesias and Lindor was negligible....if i remember correctlyTigers trading Kinsler leaves a hole at 2B. Of course, one of the finer baseball minds of this, or any, generation (and a promoter of all thinks Mexican - as well as good friends with the Marlin's bullpen, BTW), predicted that Iglesias and Dixon Machado would be the Tiger's DP combination of the future. Although, I recall he had Iglesias at 2B. That duo would provide slick, middle of the diamond fielding.....and Mendoza-line hitting. LOL
Brantley coming back is like signing a FA for the Tribe. Can only help.I have actually read rumors about the Tribe still looking at signing Bautista......ehh.....i dunno...highly highly doubt that happens but ya never know.
lets just hope Brantley can come back...if he can...the Tribe is just stacked.

Personally I hope not because fuck you. Remember when Melky lined a pitch right off Carrasco's face this past season?Yeah, but the questions are can he make it back and, if so, will his surgically repaired shoulder perform anywhere near what it used to.
Not a bad signing at $13 million per season over 5. Guy can be electric. Needs to stay healthy.Danny Duffy extended. Something good happened, wow. Now if they could somehow extend Moustakas, I would be content with this offseason no matter how unrealistic that is.

Electric??? Guy named duffy?? You sure you want to pay him that much??
Still holding on to that brantly ?? Of course he will return and be even better than he ever was. Makes me like tigers chances even moreBrantley coming back is like signing a FA for the Tribe. Can only help.
Las Vegas odds to win the world series.
AL CENTRAL
indians. 14/1
Tigers 22/1
Royals. 33/1
W hire sox. 40/1
Twins. 100/1.
If i'am in vegas. I might put a couple large on the Tigers.
Are they basing anything off his other seasons?Let's compare Duffy's extension with the Tiger's signing of Zimmermann? Or better yet...the Tiger's signing of Pelfrey and Lowe, last winter.
I understand you are "begging" doug....but you need to do a little research into stuff before you make remarks. A lot of people are saying that based on Duffy's 2016 and 2014 seasons and the fact that he is still only 28, KC made a very good move.
If you have comparisons that say they overpaid, I am sure posters here would like to hear them. If, on the other hand, you are just puffing yourself up for attention.....OK.
Not really- that's how you get a starter at a lesser contract than Melancon. Have to take some chances here and there- this one makes a great deal of sense. Are they basing anything off his other seasons?
Five year deals for guys who have never been a full time starter aren't usually my kind of thing. But KC can't let everyone walk I suppose.
Yes. ZIPs had him projected to be offered 5/95...Electric??? Guy named duffy?? You sure you want to pay him that much??
