Peppers a Tiger? Well....he and Verlander have something in common, don't they? Peppers finished 5th in Heisman voting and I think Verlander was 5th in AL Cy Young voting. Bridesmaids.

But I'd worry that Peppers might quit in the ninth inning of a baseball game! He showed a propensity toward quitting in the late going while at Michigan.

Tigers trading Kinsler leaves a hole at 2B. Of course, one of the finer baseball minds of this, or any, generation (and a promoter of all thinks Mexican - as well as good friends with the Marlin's bullpen, BTW), predicted that Iglesias and Dixon Machado would be the Tiger's DP combination of the future. Although, I recall he had Iglesias at 2B. That duo would provide slick, middle of the diamond fielding.....and Mendoza-line hitting. LOL
