They could've ran around and chucked it deep out of bounds. Ballgame.

Or ran around and out the back of the endzone.

Or... Not bothered with punt coverage personnel, as there wasn't a return man.

That one was on Jimbo Khakipants imo.

if they were closer to the end zone -- I'd agree. For some reason, having Ruddock take the snap and run 40 yards backwards doesn't seem feasible.

Hindsight is 20/20, but it was a normal football play. All he had to do was catch the snap and the game was over. MSU wasn't blocking the punt. He dropped it and nothing changes that.

Yeah, in a very "Anderson Cooper interviews Caitlyn Jenner" kind of way.

Lol. I can't be upset about it. All athletes want to be actors and all actors want to be athletes. And all of them should stick to their day jobs. Except Shaq -- Shazaam was a work of art. :pound:

Don't know why I doesn't seen feasible.

It's what they should have done. There was no reason to give the ball back.

I never checked with doug....is it possible for the Tigers to go into a downward spiral?

If Detroit CAN go into a downward spiral...what qualifications are needed? I understand that the Indians can begin a downward spiral after one loss, even though they may have just won five games in a row. What are the specifications for a Tiger downward spiral????

22-7 would probably be the Royals best month of the teams' existence. The best over the last three years was a 19-9 (.679) August last year.

Like I said, the Royals might win the AL Central again, but it won't be this year.

False

In September 1977, they went 25-5

4 of those losses were from Sept 26-28

won 15
lost 1
won 8 more

Indians back up to 6 up in the loss column on the 2nd place *Tigers

Nice to see the bats get going again tonight. ---especially Napoli- when he is hitting bombs this is just a different team.

Chiz is doing his best poor-man's Alex Gordon impression. It is awfully funny how closely Chiz's career kind of mirrored Gordon's.....both big time 3rd base prospects that blew a bunch of chances- were on their last chance with their club and found a spot in the outfield where they have excelled defensively.....Gordon is obviously the better player- at least at this point- but Chiz has become a solid member of the 25 man roster.

Bauer going today. He's 3-1 with a 2.48 ERA over his last four starts. Can he keep that pace against the worldbeating (or at least Indian beating) Twins?
