What does moose bring? ? Fans when royals ain't winning??? Sorry. No. Royal fan are bandwagoners
They jumped off the bandwagon after about 9 years of losing 90 games. They used to be insane about them as they are now, just in the times when the game was fair enough to afford more than one good player. And bad talk Moose you get the horns. He's a good player. Ok he's no Castellanos, but neither was Castellanos till this year.

Doug...the All Star Game is a pile of crap. Only 8 year olds, stat and computer nerds give a $hit about it. I have not watched that game in 5-6 years. If you want to see Verlander pitch in an "extra" game...wish for him to start game 2 in a playoff series.

Ya know, if they select Kate Upton to start on the "mounds" in the ASG...I might watch it.

The ASG just proves 1 thing. Year after year.
AL is the better league.
NL ball is weaker sister. Like sparty is weaker little brother

But still it decides who gets home field in the playoffs, which is pretty ignorant . With that reasoning a voter of a contender should only vote for the best instead of their all their own, vote sucky in the other leaque. I personally have voted Salvy and Lucroy, Rizzo and Hosmer, Cano and Murphy, Story and Esky (sorry HOF-ish defender), Arenado and Castellanos, Cain-- Bradley JR-- Betts, Braun-- Cespedes--Harper. Good thing the captain is in charge of AL again this year, the Royals are going to need that HF against the Cubs. Or the Red Sox/Indians/Rangers. Those are the only teams I'm taking seriously.

Seems unlikely but the Nats, Mets, or Giants could pull a fast one on the Cubs in the playoffs. I would any year root the hell out of the Cubs, but it just seems to me they went all 90s Yankees and tried to buy the WS. I want them so suffer more.

I guess the only one's they really "bought" would be Zobrist, Fowler, Heyward, Lackey and Lester. The brought up some studs too and just enhanced.

yeah, I have seen him pitch in the ASG, it worked out well for the NL.

Verlander just never good in the clutch, made his name dominating in years when most of his starts were against a weak AL Central.

Ventura's appealing and starting against Chicago. I don't think he'll be any different. The guy has a temper he always has and he knows. Its been just another week for him. I kinda got a feeling he's going to pick up where Duffy left off. I'm loving Duffy in the lineup more than anybody BTW. He had the best stats among KC starters back in 14. The rest of the rotation just needs to get back on track and take close games to the bullpen like they did for 2 years.

This KC staff includes guys that took them to the WS twice; Volquez, Ventura, Young and Duffy both pitched 100 innings in various spots last year, and Duffy started in 14. The only addition may be their best in Kennedy. That horrid streak they just had doesn't make a lot of sense to me, other than the fact that Cleveland just rocked them with some seriously good play.

Detroit is not clutch. They are one of the best teams in the majors on paper and can't get more than 1 game over .500. I would say the same about the Royals if didn't have all the injuries.

Ventura may be a hothead but he didn't do anything they haven't been doing in baseball for 140 years. As they said on Field of Dreams, "Look for low and outside, but look out for in your ear"

Rex Hudler quoted from 2 min ago on Ventura. This guy helped this team to the World Series 2 straight years and he's going to do it again and I rest my case.

3 unsuccessful steals by the Royals to go with 7 hits and a walk. Nice. Orlando totally ripped it but the ump and command were watching something different.

Merrifield is hitting .321, runs like the wind, plays every position.

When did Morales get 24 RBIs?
