being critical is one thing but how could you not like H0z. You think KC alone is voting for him. He's a stud, a great guy and a super talented athlete an his hair is cool. He's my favorite player

Seriously?

Dude will be 27 this fall. He hasn't hit 20 homers in a season and he plays first base. He's a very good all around player, but so are a lot of guys with cool hair.

Nobody cares who plays in the AllStar game, outside of Kansas.

Last year was the breakout year leading to the real breakout year. I don't think he's necessarily going to be one of the top 10 players in the game but I think he could snag an MVP eventually and win GGs and sign a contract bigger than Kansas City

And for all other ignorant people out there, the Royals play in Missouri

It'd be impossible to post in here like it was the entire offseason. It's kind of funny he didn't change one lick from when I got here in 2013 to now.
Ecxept now he's on a pace to hit 32 homers, 102 RBI, 89 Runs, 320 ave .237 obp and 908 ops. Thats not three weeks, 38% of the season. Thats different

Even by marriage?

Is one of the games most beloved on roids. Ortiz 1.150 OPS at 40ish. I cant talk really cause I was never a follower of his but its Bond like to be that good at that age especially when that big body should be wearing him down by now. and i apoligize in advance if this is just crazy

Hosmer has never led the league in anything.

Even a 37 year old Torii Hunter could manage a Top 20MVP vote. Hosmer, in his prime, could only get 24th. Alex Avila thinks that's weak.

MiamiVice was maybe the craziest mofo on the hoop when he wasn't banned. He'd find some way to bash Hosmer or say it won't matter because X. On a serious front- it's going to be near impossible for Hosmer to win an MVP with who is in front of him on a given year.

Machado? Trout? Donaldson? That's before other guys get brought up like Correa. Hosmer would have to put up a 1000 OPS and maybe beyond to win an MVP with how the MVP field has shaped up lately in the AL. Miggy got tons of crap on here when he won the MVP; despite winning a triple crown.

Hosmer is leading all AL 1B's with a 151 wRC+, btw. Only Belt has been more productive with a 154 wRC+ with the Giants.

What do you think about Hosmer's 29 postseason RBIs in 29 PS games. Nice guy to have around.

I am not too big on this kind of stuff as a pro-saber guy, but iirc, based on WPA and leverage specific situations, Hosmer is the must "clutch" hitter in all of baseball.

I haven't typed in swinging strike %'s yet...
Those numbers I like. Even that one crazy one you've mentioned before about spin on the ball or whatever. It's a direct measurement of on field activities.

It's the ones that factor in adjustments that Don't interest me.
