Dude
Sorry Vice started at 8:09....it is past 3PM now......just saying.
Castellanos easily could hit for .300.
I bet I get called a dick or a faggot....or something similar. After all, most 35 year old men on the internet use that kind of language all the time. Oh, wait....isn't that most 15 year olds use that kind of language?
Just about every scout that saw him in the minors said he was a future .300 hitter..
yeah.. because one that is in their early to mid 20's often makes the claim they are 35.Yeah, I'd guess he's in his early to mid 20's.
i am pretty fine if Fulmer ends up as a starter or reliever... either way.. scouts agree he is a great pitching talent.Just like every scout that's seen Fulmer has him as a MLB-ready starter, except for the ones that don't, right?
I'm still trying to figure out how we have 8 guys capable of hitting .300. Bench, starter, callup, what have you.Castellanos easily could hit for .300. Gose and Maybin play the same position... one is going to be a bench guy.. I will give you both if you like... but my focus was on the lineup. The Indians clearly are not as good of an offensive team. Its not really that hard to see.
Unless you want to be dilusional aboot 2015's last place team, no there really isn't.Ok. Well. Then, I suppose there's no point in discussing 2016 until it's happened.
Capable and actually doing it are two things.. but every member of the Tigers lineup either have in the past... or have the potential to hit for .300 outside of McCann and Maybin/Gose. I am not talking about bench guys... I will adjust to 7 not 8.I'm still trying to figure out how we have 8 guys capable of hitting .300. Bench, starter, callup, what have you.
But I tend to be practical.
The Indians don't factor into that in the slightest.
You need to keep adjusting.Capable and actually doing it are two things.. but every member of the Tigers lineup either have in the past... or have the potential to hit for .300 outside of McCann and Maybin/Gose. I am not talking about bench guys... I will adjust to 7 not 8.
preseason still.. probably will. You need to keep adjusting.
Good.preseason still.. probably will.
Let's just say Terry Collins is not a big fan of analytics. The Mets manager tells USA Today: "It's become a young man's game, especially with all of the technology stuff you've got to be involved in. I'm not very good at it. I don't enjoy it like other people do. I'm not going to sit there today and look at all of these [expletive] numbers and try to predict this guy is going to be a great player. OPS this. OPS that. GPS. LCSs. DSDs. You know who has good numbers? Good [expletive] players."
I am more than confident he will do much more than that... as is ESPN.Good.
Cuz Castellanos ain't hittin .300.
Dude has a .304 OBP in the majors.
His minor league OBP is identical.
I'll be happy if he raises his average to .265 this year personally.
actually castellanos minor league OBP was .359. Just an FYI. His career BA in the minors was .303 though.. maybe you looked at it wrong.Good.
