Prepare to have your mind blown:

LAD 2015 - .250/.326/.413/.739 - 667 RS
TEX 2015 - .257/.325/.413/.739 - 751 RS

There's two teams with essentially identical rate stats, yet one scored eighty-four more runs.

HOW COULD THAT EVER HAPPEN?!?!
one hit 7 points higher.. that is probably why.

As long as it's you doing the breakdown, sure.
put the projected lineups side by side... I just listed it.

The Indians are below average / average at C, 3rd, 1st, DH, CF, and RF
The Tigers are below average/average at 3rd, 1st, DH, RF

You want to try and sell to anyone here that Almonte is better on the bases than Maybin/Gose? Or Gomez is going to steal more bases or have more doubles/triples than McCann?

hitting .07 better equates to nearly 80 more hits... so yeah... pretty sure that will score you more runs when the OBP is virtually identical.

2015 DET - .270/.328/.420/.748 - 689 RS
2015 KCR - .269/.322/.412/.734 - 724 RS

Royals worse in every single rate stat, including a .014 difference in OPS, yet scored 35 more runs than the Tigers.

HOW COULD IT POSSIBLY HAPPEN?!?!

unearned runs.. a stat that is completely unpredictable. The funny part is the Royals are being projected to be shittier in runs scored than the Indians and they clearly have a better lineup.

The fact of the matter is this.. when projecting runs scored... you might want to project the team with the better offensive stats to score more runs..because 9 times out of 10 they do.

You've come up with an explanation of your own for how it could be possible! Way to go.
I told you how it happened last year.. now explain to me why it would be rational to use that in a projection? Are you telling me baseball prospectus is projecting the Indians to lead the AL in unearned runs? LOL How is that projected?

Like I said... just admit the projection is retarded so we can move on to more pressing topics like how shitty the Indian's outfield is going to be without Brantley.

im sure you will. i would to on the older brother.. but i would be happy as shit if they got the 22 yr old brother.
I heard the younger one is HighA or AA ready.

The older one is MLB ready.

I'll pass on anyone who is connected to Iggy. We need baserunners that aren't shitty. (Gose and Iglesias are very poor.)
