you also know that Iglesias wasn't highly touted with his bat either as a prospect right? You know that Lindor wasn't highly touted as a prospect for his bat, right?

I also know that Lindor doesn't have the range or the hands of Iglesias...
Lindor's exceptional ratings (DRS had him worth 10 runs; UZR, 15) are just confirmation of what scouts and prospect mavens have been promising: Ultraathleticism, supergrace, megarange, etc.
On plays judged by the video-scouting company Inside Edge to be either Unlikely (10-40 percent of shortstops would convert it) or Even plays (40-60 percent), Lindor was the best in baseball last year. Of the Unlikely variety, he succeeded 67 percent of the time.
small sample... i will be fine with lindor after this year and he proves himself. Escobar is a solid SS.. but I take Iglesias over him. They are actually very similiar players.Major League Leaderboards » 2015 » Shortstops » Fielding Statistics | FanGraphs Baseball
Alcides Escobar is ahead of Iglesias. So is Lindor if you allow for a smaller sample.
They lost 3 guys from their bullpen.. who the fuck did they replace those 3 guys with stan? Do you think the Royals bullpen is better this year? Do you think their rotation is better? Their pitching fucking stinks.
LOL iffy...(Since Vice has failed to prove his case with Iglesias...................)
Anyone (a homer is preferable) willing to defend the presence of Nick Castellanos in the Tiger's lineup as their everyday 3B? Just to kick it off, Fangraphs rated his defense #19 out of the qualifying 21 MLB third baseman.
Trying to be positive, Nick's defense did improve from 2014....where he ranked last. A similar improvement this season should slide him upward to around 14th or 15th on the defensive list. However, given that his offensive numbers lag behind most other 3B, one wonders how many more years Detroit will have to struggle with a sore spot at a position where many other teams have players with high WAR.

answer my questions stan... do you actually think the Royals bullpen is better this year? Do you think their rotation is better? If you lose one of your worst relievers, how big a deal is it?
You can't seriously tell anyone that losing a below avg reliever is a big loss. Morales' loss is easily offset by Soria (who was better last year), meaning that the only meaningful loss that wasn't easily replaced was Madson.
So 1 meaningful reliever loss that hasn't been replaced makes the Royals go from a top tier pitching staff to one that stinks? Please...
Only Chase Headley and Pablo Sandoval had a worse wRC+ among qualified 3B's in the AL.Castellanos number's lag behind other 3rd basemen? Really? He may not be the top 3rd base.. but he is far from the worst at the plate in the AL.
um.. iglesias was a top 50 prospect...Seeing that Iglesias wasn't highly touted at all, I'm aware that it wasn't his bat that made him highly touted.
why do you have a tigers logo under your favorite teams when you are clearly a troll? there isn't an answer for everything iffy...Vice....question. Why do you jump from "is the best" to "will be the best" and then back again? Is it when you start losing an argument? If someone proves your "history" wrong, you jump to - "he'll be the best" and then to prove that, you circle around and start using past stats to show that they will be. Are you aware you do that - or is it that your constant self-demand of trying to always be right blinds you to your behavior?
Don't be coy.a butcher? please do tell what you mean.
no please... do tell how iglesias would be described as a butcher.Don't be coy.
