Broncos D was near the bottom of the league in points allowed and ranked only ninth in sacks last year. I do think that we have a chance to be much better in both areas this year. The poster who wrote that our D "sucks" wasn't too far off the mark if he was referring to last year's squad.

We are talking about this year. Coming into the season Denver's D was talked about as one of the better D's in football. Last year was last year. Im talking about this year and the poster that said they suck said this year making fun of Flacco for having a bad game against Denvers bad Defense(that's just a summary of what he said).

Newton wasn't awful. There were some bad drops out there - Ginn was wide open on at the 2 and dropped a free TD, for example. Cam had some big runs today, made some key 3rd down conversions. It was a typical ugly Panthers win.

The biggest mistake made on that play was thinking Ginn could even catch a football.

Man, $120 mil doesn't buy what it used to.

Denver pressured him on almost every play. I think they could be a top 5 D this year.
