I don't understand this. Even BoB understood Peavy was a 6 inning pitcher. He begins the 7th and gives up two long doubles. Tying run at the plate. It's not as if Noggin doesn't have 23 other pitchers he can use.

If peavy wanted to stay in and Boch, out of loyalty, let him, than that is kinda on Peavy. His numbers in the 6th/with 80 pitches/3rd time through the order are simply beyond a trend. It is a fact.

Shame on Bochy for not yanking him.
