He's been amazingly quiet considering that there's been a couple posters starting to warm up to the Posey at 3rd idea.

This isn't really right, he was signed as an FA to be a starting CF. Maybe he's a #4 next year. The rest of this is dead on.

Just because he was signed as a starting CFer doesn't mean that he should have been. His numbers were similar to Blanco, only Blanco had a history with this team. I mentioned this illogic at the time, but I trusted (and honestly, still do) the PsTB.

I don't think anyone ever "hated" the idea. I was just against it because I am based in reality. Posey has not played the position since college and both he and the org have shot down the possibility of a move every time it was brought up.

I do wonder what the Giants do with the rotation this off season. Only locks, in my opinion, are Bumgarner, Cueto and Samardzija.
