Which is more likely, that happening or Casilla getting a save again this year?
There is a silver lining.
Still standing by my statement that Moore hasn't been a good pickup so far. Although he did, potentially, cost less that Smith.
What are you talking about? His ERA is still under 5.00.
Knowing the Giants, they make room for him the entire season, with some stints on the disabled list (which, considering his last few seasons, will probably be legitimate), and ends the year in the bullpen. Then he rides off into the sunset of free agency.OK now it's over.
Man, what do we do with Cain? You have to cut him loose don't you in 2017?

I do wonder what the Giants do with the rotation this off season. Only locks, in my opinion, are Bumgarner, Cueto and Samardzija.I guess that's kind of what they did with Timmy in 2014, but man I just don't see how he gets a rotation spot.
Read about it earlier today. Kinda want to see it happen, just for the whirlwind experience it would cause. However, the winner of all that probably wouldn't stand a chance to beat the Cubs.Three way tie breaker for WC spot is, ahh, involved:
The three-team tiebreaker for NL wild card is a head-spinning exercise

No matter how the WC goes no one stands a chance vs the Cubs. Except, remember, they are horribly cursed.
Tough to go against the goat.
So in the slim chance we get to the Cubs, we'd be the underdog, AGAIN?Read about it earlier today. Kinda want to see it happen, just for the whirlwind experience it would cause. However, the winner of all that probably wouldn't stand a chance to beat the Cubs.
