Damn, I feel bad for Okert watching this postgame show. Kid is surrounded by reporters, clearly sounds shaken.
It's a game, it's a game, it's a game.

Not sure how they could even win a one game as they cannot seem to win the first game of the series.I guess my take is now that they simply do not have a good enough bullpen. They might back into the playoffs, and Bum or Cueto might win the play in, but there's no way in baseball for them to get by the Cubs, not with this pen.
Good season but not good enough. It happens. Fucking shitty but most years that's how it goes. Gotta have a good bullpen to win in October, as we did for all 3 of ours.
Strickland is clearly not the answer either. How about Law when he gets activated tomorrow?

How about we all agree to not do a game day thread tomorrow? What would be the point, to share our disgust on how they manage to creatively (or not creatively) lose the game?
Perdomo's ERA is north of 5. Clearly, a No-No is almost expected. After the way this game was lost, tomorrow's game seems like a grind to try to avoid getting swept. Of course, Perdomo will pitch well.

Or Spotify, or Pandora, or Apple Radio....At this point, I would like to abandon the team, but that would mean I would have to listen to political talk on the radio during the day...
GO GIANTS!!!
Not much of a music-guy...Or Spotify, or Pandora, or Apple Radio....
People laugh at your comment but does anyone remember that game Edwin Jackson threw against us on July 17th? He went six innings, giving up no hits. He had gotten the first batter out in the 7th before his defense failed him a 2nd time and then he walked his 5th batter before Gillaspie stepped up and got the first hit, a 3 run home run. It took the Giants 7 innings to figure out a guy who had been released by the Marlins (as a relief pitcher) and whom the Padres had just called up from AAA and inserted into their rotation. His ERA currently sits at 5.32.Perdomo's ERA is north of 5. Clearly, a No-No is almost expected.

This makes me wonder, how many times has an opposing pitcher carry a no-hitter against the Giants into the 7th inning in 2016. I know of Stripling and Jackson and think that there were at least two more this year.
I was just throwing out the idea to see if there was concensus. Its up to you if you want to start a game day thread. If you or someone else does, I probably won't contribute unless the team wins and I choose to come in and celebrate the victory. However, I cannot guarantee that my fingers won't keep from expressing their frustration if the team comes up with another creative way to loss or has an extremely frustrating loss.No more GDT's for now, or is it okay to start a GDT if one hasn't been created by game time? Know that this stretch of 54 games has been painful for everyone on here.
Even he has struggled (compared to himself, not the rest of the team) these past two months. He's carrying an ERA of 3.86 and a WHIP of 1.186 post ASB. Good numbers for someone in the number 3 slot in the rotation but a bit under Bumgarner's 2016 season or any of his previous post-ASB seasons since 2012.Lester on 9/2? Can't remember another one. Also, the Giants have been shutout 7 times since the ASB. They were shutout 4 times prior to the ASB.
Bumgarner will really have to pick up and carry the team today for a win, it seems.
