Peavy is looking OK, but he becomes a completely different pitcher in the 6th.

With a 3-run lead, he should get some rope, though (assuming no more scoring until then)

6th inning, 80 pitches, 3rd time through, all of the above. Boch has taken notice though, and he has his Pen getting ready around any of these times.

Yeah I'm fine with Byrd returning, what's a few extra million if it's not from our pockets? Can the Giants get any value for Aoki? I agree that he's expendable assuming the Giants are healthy and wouldn't really be sad to see him go.

Aoki was a serious allstar contender this year before he got hit in the leg. He started coming around before he got hit in the face, and THAT effectively ended his season.

While he is a legit HBP candidate, two major hits in one season is flukey.

Yes, I think he has value.
