It makes sense with the small window and teams like the marlins already having to makeup a week or gms.

I don't like it but hopefully we won't see too many doubleheaders other than the Marlins playing ton potentially...and who really cares about the Marlins?

I get why they are doing this but 7 innings just isn't right. I mean an extra 30 mins to each game goes a long way but cmon....probably put in place specifically for the dumbass Marlins tbh.

Friday's game between the Cardinals and Brewers has officially been postponed and rescheduled as a doubleheader on Sunday.
Major League Baseball has also confirmed that the Cardinals had two players test positive for COVID-19. Saturday's game is currently still scheduled, pending the results of further testing of Cardinals players. Per the new rule, Sunday's doubleheader is slated to be played as two seven-inning games.

The way this joke of a season has started off I think MLB needs to implement a plan for six-inning tripleheaders if any team plans to play a complete 60 game schedule. This just isn't baseball!
