Lebron ain't coming by himself. So, if they get Lebron, they are getting another max guy with him. Which then puts them in the exact spot that sparked this discussion. lol

LOL. Fair enough. I do think PG makes sense for the Lakers. Lebron would as well if you guys didn't have Deng and could bring in a couple of mid level guys.

Guys like D Wade who can still play for 15-20mpg and provide depth.

Wade was given a contract of 15 million last offseason. Not exactly league minimum.

if they had Porzingis and Simmons instead of BAll and Ingram id be a lot more worried. I just think Ball is a terrible fit with LeBron in particularly.

That Deng contract is definitely the turd in the punch bowl. Short Buss is the gift that keeps on giving. I can't even be mad at Deng. The dude played hard and tried to earn his money before the Lakers finally gave up. He just doesn't have anything left. I wish he did. If he could at least contribute something on the court, it would make the contract at least a little less painful. lol

Dwyane Wade Stats | Basketball-Reference.com

2.3 million with the Heat. That's his going rate.
thats what his prorated contract was for once he was bought out.

Hes actually getting paid like 15M this year because of the Chicago contract and subsequent buyout he signed--- well 15 + the vet. min he signed for in Cleveland--- so he made about 17.5M this past year.

If he wasn't retiring, his contract would be the vet minimum. He wouldn't be making more than that if he came back for next season.

I think it would be the vet. min since Miami is capped outa nd if hes playing hes only going to play in Miami and thats all they have to offer him unless they offer him the txMLE

but if he went on the FA market id think if he was looking for every last dollar he could get more than 2.3M a year.
