The chemistry excuse is real, imo, but they did it to themselves.

While the Clippers were being praised for their load management, the Lakers were being called crazy because Lebron was playing in every game.

Perhaps there was a method to the madness after all?

PG and Kawhi didn't get a lot of regular season games together I know that

Jokic has been so good. So skillful inside and outside and such a great passer. I don't really see anyone shutting him down. And he's got a lot of reliable teammates to pass to. Houston was so disappointing. Harden's passes just often led to his teammates missing their shots.

It's not about shutting him down...that's not going to happen. It's about giving him different looks, making him work for everything he gets and making him as inefficient as possible. Between AD, Javale, Dwight and even Lebron...the Lakers can do that in ways the Clippers couldn't.

It's not going to be easy, the Nuggets are on a roll and they're young enough to not understand that they can't be doing what they just did.

Yep, next year they're going to have to deal with a healthy Warriors and a Nuggets team that, regardless of what happens against the Lakers, now knows how good they are.

Yep. Some of that was PG recovering from his injury at the beginning of the season. But when he came back, they just continued to go with the load management plan they had before the season. If memory serves, they didn't even play in all of the seeding games.

I don't know if it's true or not, but there were rumors that when everything shut down Lebron was organizing workouts with his teammates. Didn't hear any of that about the Clippers.

bad performance from the clippers but Denver played well. That’s what you get when Paul George is your 2nd fiddle. Dude was a failure in Indiana. He’s a 4th option at best. Leonard should have stayed in Toronto.

Kawhi was sitting out with "injuries" and Doc was fine with it while the Lakers were trying to get as many games possible together. He knew this was their first season together. He can make excuses but he is part of the reason why they didn't get time.
